I cannot login to my Jmail account!
. -Please try again. Your computer, network, or traffic to our servers during peak usage may be causing temporary problems.

In the event you cannnot login though your correct Jmail userID and password, please inform us of the situation.

I do not want my account and password shown whenever I login.
. This is not caused by a Jmail function but rather by the latest version of the Internet browser installed on your computer. You can disable this feature by going to Options or Preferences in your browser's settings.

I forgot my account name!
. Jmail cannot do a search for your account. Please sign up again and get a new account.

I forgot my password!
. To set up a new password, please go to "Forgotten Password" on the top page.

What if "Forgotten Password" comes back with a country name which is different from the one I used during registration?
  You need to fill in the same information as when you registered or the system will not allow a new password to be issued for security reasons.
 
What if "Forgotten Password" says the answer to my secret question is wrong?
. We are sorry it is not possible to retrieve this data for JmailFree users. Please acquire a new account.
For JmailLite/JmailPro (paid) users, please send the eaxct informaion as when you registered to Jmail support(email address is confirmed when you registered.)

A password was reissued but I can't use the new password.
. If by chance you recall the old password after changing it, you will not be able to login with it.
Use the new password once after the change, and if you want to revise it yet again click on "Options" and then "Change Password."

I cannot input my password.
. Passwords must be from 4 to 8 alphanumeric characters. If you used a password that is less than 4 or more than 8 characters, please go to "Forgotten Password" on the Jmail top page, and change the password. Kindly take a few minutes and continue the re-sign-up process after reconfiguring your password as specified.

How many characters does the UserID have to be?
. From 4 to 23 alphanumeric characters but cannot begin with a numeral.

How many characters can I use for my password?
. Passwords can be from 4 to 8 alphanumeric characters. After changing your password once, the password has to be 4 to 8 characters.

Can I use slash (/), hyphen (-) or underbar (_) for my account name?
. These symbols are not currently supported for account names.

Since an error appeared during the sign-up, I tried again but it says the User ID is already taken. Why?
. In the event of a stoppage before sign-up completion or happening upon an error, the same userID may be available within 2 hours. Please try again about 2 hours later.

How many accounts can I take?
. There are no restrictions with regards to the number of accounts, you can take as many as required!

How can I pay for an upgrade account (JmailLite or JmailPro)?
. We accept credit cards (VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, JCB) or bank transfers.
Please note if the payment is not paid in a timely manner, i.e. delayed, Jmail may block your Email account.

I would like to cancel my account.
. "JmailLite/JmailPro" : Please contact Jmail Support by mail which was announced by Email at the time of registration.
A cancellation request will be sent to you and you must return this by snail mail after signing to process the cancellation.
Please note : return mailing cost is to be borne by the subscriber.
"JmailFree" : There is no cancellation process. The account will be automatically deleted if you do not login for 90 days.

Does Jmail protect us against viruses?
. Currently Jmail does provide support against viruses. If you receive a message with an attached file(s) from an unknown person, please be careful of opening it. We suggest you do NOT!

I want to delete an ad footer.
. It is not possible to delete. The Jmail service is supported by such advertising forms. If you upgrade to JmailPro and use a commercial email client(OutlookExpress, Eudora etc), there is no ad footer in your messages. Additionally, we would like ask you to realize there are footers in JmailLite users' message although it is a paid service.

I want to save my messages.
. Jmail does not support to saving mail to hard disks or other memory media.
You can elect to:
EForward received messages to another mail account
ECopy and paste the content of messages in a text file and save

How many receivers (to, cc or bcc) can I set?
. Although there are no restrictions regarding the number of receivers' addresses inputted, an error might occur by a typo or other user error. We recommend you to send messages to a reasonable number of intended recipients. Also, remember to separate addresses with a comma and a space.

What does it means, "the numbers" or "Normal" in the condition columns?
. The setting criticality of the mail is reflected. When especially there is no setting criticality, (normally), " the Normal " and " 3 " it is indicated." The Normal " and " 3 " are the same, but the method of presentation differs depending upon the mail software of the person transmitting.

What if a message is sent from a specific address which I set up to reject?
. Check to see if it is exactly the same address, Spammers take a variety of the same address. Rejected messages are not returned to the sender. Additionally, Jmail does not have a service to set up the original reject message.

How can I change the reply-to address?
. You can change the "reply address" in the Basic Preferences portion of Options.

How can I change the header name?
. You can change "your name" in Options > Basic Preferences.

What is the difference of background colors on the received mail list?
. White signifies an unread mail while gray is a message you have already read.

I do not want to receive large-sized messages.
. Please limit this in Options > Basic Preferences > Max message size to download.

I want to change the number of displayed messages.
. Go to Options > Basic Preferences and input Number of messages to display.

I want to change the display style.
. Go to "Options," then "Basic Preferences" and "Sort mail list." You can also set the number of messages displayed in Basic Preferences.

I would like to change the order of the mail messages displayed.
. You can sort messages by clicking onto the "" buttons which appear on top of the inbox screen, and also set the same fuctions from Options > Basic Preferences and "Sort."

I want to change the automatic reception time for checking for incoming mail.
. Go to "Options" and "Basic Preferences," then select the time frame you wish the system to check for incoming messages.

How can I use the signature feature?
. Go to "Options" then "Signature" and compose one in the box provided. Click on the "Add Signature File" checkbox to add your signature to the end of your email message.

How can I refuse certain messages?
. Simply click on "Block Sender" while viewing messages in the inbox. You can add email addresses to block in Options > "Filtering Rules / Reject."

I prefer to distribute my email messages to folders or forward to another account.
. Click onto "Folders" then create a new folder. You can move messages to this folder by using the pull-down bar in the Inbox. You can forward messages one-by-one to another existing account but there is no feature to set this up to do it en masse.

I would like to navigate through the various Email folders without having to resort to clicking on the left-hand menu link.
. You can easily navigate by utilizing the pull-down bar and selecting the appropriate folder.

I would like to change the color settings.
. Click on "Colors" on the left-side navigation link and choose desired color.

I would like to receive mail from another account.
. Click onto "Options" and then "External mail setting" where this can easily be set up by following the instructions.

Can I use JmailFree if I close my JmailPro or JmailLite account?
. If you wish to quit your JmailPro or JmailLite account, you can use JmailFree.

Is it possible to use CGI?
. No, unfortunately it is not possible to use CGI.

I cannot transmit to a specific address.
. Jmail does not set any restrictions for sending to any providers, however it seems that some providers have reception restrictions placed on Jmail users.
 
HTML mail is not visible.
. On the mail list screen you can choose to view messages in HTML by checking "Enable HTML " on a particular message and then click "Set View Style."

Attached mail is shown or not shown.
. On the mail list screen, you can choose to show an attached file or not by checking "Inline images".

I want to cancel the notifier set-up.
. Delete the address that is set up as notifier, enter password, and push the "Notify"button.

I want to cancel the auto-forwarding to my wireless device.
. Please enter password at Auto-forwarding Cancellation, and Push the "Save" button.

I want to cancel the external mail setting(s).
. Delete userID only and push the [Save] button.

Header is displayed or not displayed..
. Go to your inbox, click on "Show header" and "Set View Style" and the header will be visible. If you want to disable header, click on to the X and Set View Style.

Email is displayed on my monitor in one long sentence.
. Please check under your browser's options or preferences for the font setting. Select "Proportional Font" to avoid this situation.

Though I set "Forwarding to Cell Phones," transmission is slow.
  Internet mail does not guarantee real-time transmission. Delay has likely occurred because of the cell-phone provider, who are being inundated with Spam. Please ask your cellular phone company about the problem.
 
The "trash can" became empty without any notice.
  The trash can is periodically deleted by the system to save disc space. If you have important messages, create a new folder to add the messages you may want to keep.
 
Is there a Web-based news reader?
  The Web-based news reader service was discontinued.
 
Mail is not being auto-fowarded to my cellular phone.
  Please check the reject setting on your cellular phone. If you set to reject mail from the specified address, the mail is returned to the sender. Also some delay may have occurred because of the cell-phone provider, who are being inundated with Spam. Please ask your cellular phone company about any probrems you may be facing.
 
I specified i-mode by using the auto-forward function to deliver messages tomy cell phone's browser. I set up Jmail address as the receivable domain but the mail are not being auto-fo‚’warded to my cellular phone.
  The auto-forward function sends messages onward to your cell phone's browser, i.e. transmits messages received on an as-is basis.? Since each sender's address varies, the auto-forward feature will not workproperly if you set up your Jmail address as the receiving domain. Please set up the domain name as the one you expect to send mail from.
 
Notifier doesn't seem to be working.
  Please check your email address set-up. You can use an Email address with hyphen (-) but not with slash (/).
 
I received a message by using the function, auto-forwarding, and notifier, and the mail was gone when I logged in.
  Filtering and rejecting is not available with the "forwarding to cell phones" and "notifier" functions. When a message is received from the specific address to reject, you will get a notice of mail received to your cellular phone or other email address, however, it looks as if there is no mail on the Web because the "reject" function went in to effect.
 
I try to open one of messages in the inbox but a different mail is opened.
  Please go to Options and press "Debug" to clear up any problems with your account.
 
An error message appears while I am using Jmail.
  Please try again later. Your computer, network, or traffic to our servers during peak usage may be causing temporary problems.
 
I cannot receive any mail!
  - The size of an incoming message is huge.
The maximum message size which can be downloaded is 3MB for JmailFree, 5MB for JmailLite user, and 10MB for JmailPro user. The mail might of a larger capacity than your limit. To prevent this go to "Options" and set "Max message size to download "in basic preferences to match your limit.
- Your mail box is full.
Your mail box might be full. Please delete some messages, and then click on "Check Mail."

If the problem has not been resolved, please go to "Options" and press "Debug" to clear up any problems with your account.

- Your computer, network, or traffic to our servers during peak usage may be causing temporary delays. Please try to click on "Check Mail" several times over the course of an hour or so.
- A message might not be deliverable due to input errors, typos, etc. Please confirm with the sender.
Please understand Internet mail does not guarantee real-time transmission.
 
I cannot send any mail!
  There are several situations, e.g. cannot send a message to a specific person or to anyone, or you get an error message. If you got an error message, please read it because there is a reason why the mail is not successfully delivered.
*Common error and cause
- User Unknown / Unknown User
- You might have made a typos before @ or there is no user corresponding to the receiver.
- Host Unknown
- You might make a typo after @, which might signify an incorrect email server (domain).
- Message size exceeds fixed maximum message size.
- Receiver has a restriction on receivable message size and the mail you send is over the limit.
 
After the site renewal, some words in my address book have turned into garbled characters.
  There might be some unread characters in your address book depending on your computer's operating system, language and/or model. Please click onto "Address Book" after logging in, and modify any addresses with strange characters.
